Today was a stimulating day of question and answers. One of the most valuable aspects of an EDL classroom is for the students to share information about their own particular situations. It really helps to hear about other schools and how things are done in those different schools. The IFT presenter did a nice job of running a question and answer session. I especially enjoyed looking at the language of the retirement clause and dissecting the wording for multiple interpretations. This was a meaningful class exercise.
This morning's sessions of the simulation allowed us the time we needed to review the information from the last time and plan the next steps we needed to do as a Board team. We only had a few points that we needed to come back to this afternoon. I was surprised at some of the sticking points in the process, but we seemed to come to an agreement after some discussion. It looks like we may have a final agreement by tomorrow.
