Day Two- The dance begins

Today as our groups worked to create ground rules it further cemented for me the fact that you must know your negotiations team and understand everyones role in order to be an effective team. I found that even in establishing the ground rules we had not discussed enough the possibility of counters on our conditions, therefore some confusion occurred. The biggest error both teams made was in allowing multiple group members the opportunity to speak. When this occurs is looks like the team is not cohesive and the other team may see an opportunity to utilize this to their advantage- "divide and conquer".
