simulation fun

Isn't it fun to see how passionate we become when role-playing for our team during bargaining simulations? And how important is a good sense of humor during those situations where we might be a little too passionate? While negotiations is a fairly "formal" process, it seems that a lot of movement takes place informally. I truly enjoy the learning that has occurred during the simulation and have a great deal of respect for all those involved with both teams. My take-away from this experience thus far would be the value of relationships built prior to negotiations -- how those relationships come into play during negotiations -- and the strength of those relationships after negotiations. I can see how easy it would be to jeopardize those relationships during this process -- and what is it worth over the course of negotiations to protect the working value of such relationships?
