The Simulation Process

The simulation process in class seems to be more difficult then the actual processes I have been involved with. I think part of that is because we do not actually have anything to lose or gain. In the simulation I am probably more stuborn then I would actually be in "real life" and I think it is because I feel I have to win, but what does that really mean in class? When I have been involved in negotiations before I had a much better understanding of what was wanted and needed by both sides and this made it much easier in the long run. I think negotiations all comes down to the relationships you have been able to build with the people at the table.
