Having absolutely zero experience in negotiations, I must admit that the simulation has been one of the most worthwhile educational activities. Being a part of the board team has allowed me the opportunity to see the exchange that occurs between parties. I understand how important the trust and respect levels are when bargaining. If one team doesn't trust the other, they are less likely to agree and "give in" to their interests.
The guest speaker was informative and interesting. I wish we would have had more time with him, as it appeared the class had a lot of pertinent questions for him.
