Reflection #1, Thoughts from Jon Hill

This may sound like a recording, but I really enjoyed our class time this weekend. You cannot say that statement for every class in this program, but I really learned quite a bit over the past 48 hours besides the fact that it was going to be a long season for the Auburn Tigers. Just as some others in the class have stated, I have had very little experience in regards to Collective Bargaining and Negotiations. The simulation activity we started today is going to be quite the experience. I have already learned tons of nuggets from the lectures and the activities as well as from other classmates. It is always interesting to hear and learn from everyone's viewpoints and stories. It was a neat experience negotiating the Ground Rules today. I think both groups did a good job of bargaining (even if the main product was food at the negotiations; imaginary food at that) during the activity and I felt that everyone was able to learn from one another.
