Day 2

Day 2 of class was interesting because there are definite differences in the way schools/people negotiate contracts. Starting the simulation opened my eyes to how people will handle themselves. It's very important to stay calm even when you may be confused as to why the other side is asking for something that really means nothing in the big picture. It is also important to make sure you have throw-aways so the other side feels they are winning something. In negotiations you need to get people to believe you have their best interest at heart and you will do what you can to help them get what they want. It all comes down to relationships and trust as we said on the first day.
